You can get your device to directly alert the police or the fire department. Of course, the more high-tech your device is the more expensive it is. Still, it requires less management than a dog which needs to be bathe, fed and walk. You can always get a dog, however, for a companion.

Placing Your Domestic Burglar Alarms

Now, if you have decided to purchase domestic burglar alarms, you need to make sure that you place the sensors strategically. You need to place them in vulnerable places in your home. If you have a big kitchen window where you think an intruder can fit through, then place a sensor there. You should also make sure that your siren is placed somewhere where it can freely make a sound whenever it is triggered. Ideally, your neighbors should also be able to hear the alarm when it goes off.

Domestic burglar alarms are fairly similar to dogs. However, the former is always a better choice when it comes to home protection and security.
