The company of GE has made another breakthrough by making and selling the Shatterpro3 another item from their Interlogix line. It has the technology of Aritech which are sensors that senses and sets the alarm when there is a glass breakage. In the tests that were conducted in their laboratory this device had almost no false alarm instances as compared to its predecessor. It can cover small areas of a room or a large one too. Any noise interfering that comes from outside of the area will not cause the device to alarm at all.

Shatterpro three can detect in a three hundred sixty degrees range. The best radius it is capable of from the glass to the main sensor is 7.6 meters. The technology used is made through recognizing the patterns which has been patented by the company under Aritech. The sensor built in the device can distinguish the real sound of a glass breaking thus it will not set the alarm for other sounds that it has not recognized. The sensor can also listen to a wide range of frequency.

The casing of the alarm is usually in a rectangular shape or a round shape. Buyers can test the device without having to open the casing and touching the sensor. There is a tester that can be held by hands within a closer range. The buyer or the person testing can clap their hands to know that the shatterpro three can actually work.

Other Features:
The device can be adjusted to the size of the area it will be installed. It has a design that allows people with more accessibility. The device has a design feature of knowing that the loop of perimeter is actually the area meant to be quiet. It can consistently detect even the faintest sound of glass breaking. It can detect even though draperies or window blinds. The users can product test if first just by clapping their hands. There is another new feature of using an alarm with a memory.

Other Series for glass breakage
There are other detectors meant for glass beakage. Some of them are the GS200 model and the GS110 model. Both devices can tell frequencies that can be very ultrasonic. The radius from the glass and the devise is typically two meters. It can be installed with a distance of just two centimeters from the window’s frame. It is encased in plastic. An LED latch which is used as an indicator comes with the system to locate the device easily.
