Honeywell is a company committed to manufacturing alarms as well as detectors for intruders. One of their products is the Flexguard. Flexguard is an alarm that can detect glass breakage. The principle underlying the device is based on two technologies fro sensors. It makes use of a micro controller which is in the board for better reception for signals.

The Flexguard-1000 is a complete line of detectors or alarms for glass breakage. It applies processing signals digitally by using the board with micro controller. When all these conditions are met then the alarm will sound off. The smallest size for the glass which the device can be installed to is a twenty eight centimeters by twenty eight centimeters square. It should be in a frame on the room’s walls. The following are the other features:

The installation is easy for the buyer because it was created for the end-users easy installation. The device has a central entry points for the wire. It also has sufficient space for the wires. There are spaces meant for mounting. There are some models which have terminals for block, eol and switches for dips. The buyer can install the alarm wherever he wants it to be. The buyer can also verify if the device is operating by just clapping hands. The LED light which is usually green in color will verify by blinking. It means that is is awake and it continues to process all sounds.
