How then can we make windows safe-free from burglars? .Apply and follow what we have learned from our door alarm system. This time we need as material some thin line of foil wire. Affix the foil wire to the surface of the glass. The only way an intruder can enter a house is to break the glass. Doing this will break the circuit activating the burglar alarm system.

We can also design our floor-mat burglar alarm system. Materials needed are: push button switch, a buzzer and an improvised wood-based floor mat. Make the necessary connections from buzzer, to switch and to the house current outlet. This time, instead of the usual metal the floor mat has a wood as base. Embed the push button switch to an area where the floor mat will be place. If the intruder unintentionally steps on the mat, the pressure pushes the mat to the button triggering the burglar alarm system to be activated.
 

These are some of the simple burglar alarm system that an ordinary homeowner could design that may guarantee security of home and property. An intruder will always looks for unguarded point of entry. With home-made low-cost burglar alarm system we can be two steps ahead of probable intruder.
