1.Detectors with Passive Infrareds-
This type of burglar alarm is one of the most common alarm one can find in homes and small offices. It is more affordable and it also functions well. The device works passively because it can work without needing any form of waves that comes from radiation. This is commonly known for its abbreviation PIR. These devices first gets to adapt the environment’s temperature and it will detect an unknown thing because there is a new change in the temperature. It was designed based on its ability to differentiate and can check which were present and which should not be there. The sensors are installed to be able to detect these changes and compare.

2.Ultrasonic Burglar Alarm
These burglar alarms makes use of frequencies. They have detectors that transmits a sound that people cannot hear and this is called an untrasonic sound wave. This detects anything that is moving where a change in its frequency will occur. This happens when there is something that is moving towards or when something is moving away from it fast.

3.Microwave Burglar alarms
This alarm also emits waves but this time they are micro waves. The waves are emitted from one transmitter. It should be able to identify a change in the concentration of the beam’s reflection like when it is reduced. For application inside an office or a house it will have the receiveing part and the transmitter in just one casing. When this is used outside then there are two parts separate from one another.

4.Burglar alarms with a photo Electric Beam
This type of beam can tell when someone else is present. The alarm will transmit infra red lights in one area where it should be seen by the owner. The alarm will set off when there is something blocking the lights to flow in one direction. Nowadays people can have many layers of these lights and it can be a good long term investment as a burglar alarm.
