Good Alarms for Exit Doors

There are day alarms that are ideal ways of securing an exit place like those emergency exits for hotels, grocery shops, a warehouse, a restaurant and other places for leisure. This is also highly recommended for any kind of building. One of the best known in this industry is the brand, EXITGUARD. Exitguard has passed the standard of the fire safety. Many officers and employees working for security also recommend it. There is a loud sounding alarm that has been integrated into the system that will be active when emergency exit doors are opened. This alarm will be the warning signal to the rest of the people inside.

The latest EXITGUARD makes use of nine numbers for its key control pad for better programming and easy control. The tone that can come from the alarm can be customized so that its noise is different from the rest of the alarms installed. It can also be in a silent mode and can be restarted again with four numbers that will be the code. The device can also start again in an automatic fashion when the exit door is secured.
A delay can also be programmed which is called DOTL or door open too long. This delay makes use of a code to restart and to make it automatic. Another feature is the bleeping in and off choice.

Exitguard comes in different kind of models which can provide customers different types of application:

1. Exitguard 204
This is operated by batteries when there is no power supply near the door. This can also be ideal for exit doors which are not frequently used. This is also ideal where the security does not need the alarm to emit sound for a very long time. When necessary the user can set aside the batteries to give way for the electric supply that should be 12vdc. This model is connected to an indicator called multiguard.

2. Exitguard 205
This is powered with 12vdc. This is ideal for exit doors that are usually used. The sound of the alarm is also required to emit sound for a longer time. This type can be incorporated with another device. It is also connected to a multiguard. Batteries cannot power this device.

3.Exitguard 206
The main power should be 230 vac. The exit door is usually used and the alarm should sound off for a long time too. As a back up this device can also use batteries. An indicator is also attached to it.
